(7.) Progress Checks and Promotions: Students shall be evaluated on a 4-week basis to gauge progress. TenBears typically holds promotion seminars on a twice-a-year basis in which a student will receive a stripe or new belt after they have acquired four stripes. While promotion to a new belt typically takes 2 years, some students may acquire stripes and promotions faster or slower than others based upon their performance. Ten Bears only recognizes belts provided to the student by Tenbears as the promotion is based upon TenBears criteria. TenBears charges $30-$40 for the cost of the promotion seminar, certificate, and new belt
(8.) Billing Questions: TenBears offers four unique payment plans for membership; D. C, B, A is a ‘paid-in-full’ membership which comes with a considerable discount for the term commitment. In consideration of that discount, TenBears only accepts ‘paid-in-full’ membership on an ‘Earned Upon Receipt basis. This means that no refund shall be given in the event of cancellation unless such cancellation is due to moving of residence, serious medical injury, or for military purpose. In this case a refund may be given, at the discretion of TenBears, based upon the term remaining on the agreement; no refund is guaranteed. Under the membership plans, B, C, and D TenBears will terminate membership upon a written notice provided 30 days in advance of the student’s termination of the agreement. Student and Guardian understand that they will still be billed on a monthly basis and that the billing cycle wil not be terminated until after the conclusion of the 30 day written notice. **If you have any questions regarding billing, please contact Coach Henry or Professor Jim at 937-972-8834
